My names Stu Long and welcome to my Search Engine Optimisation (also know as SEO) Blog.
I’m a Search Strategist and SEO consultant based in the UK working for one of the UK’s fatest growing digital marketing agencies, Branded3. Learning from the best in the business; Director of Search Patrick Altoft and Head of Search Tim Grice.
Back in 2008 I accidentally stumbled into SEO after starting out learning web design and finding that the promotion of a website is where you must spend 95% of your time if you want to succeed with a website or business online.
I now have over 3 years experience in building and optimising websites, microsites and authority domains and I’m currently working with some of the biggest brand names in the UK across many market sectors with a variety of different budgets and annual turnover ensuring they get the most amount of visibility, traffic and profit from the Search Engines.
I’ve been through a lot of the pain and time consumption that comes with the researching, building and promotion of a website and through this experience have learned a lot about the ever changing World that we have come to know as SEO.
Through this new found knowledge and expertise I want to be able to share with some cool little tips, tricks and general SEO related information which will ultimately help you with the promotion of your website or blog.
I hope you enjoy reading my ramblings and I hope you find what I provide here helps, even if your new to SEO or you own a website and wish to just get more visitors. A lot of the stuff I’ll be covering can be quite technical however I will try to explain some of the findings in its simpliest form and include my own personal take on each subject.
